Overview of Student Computing Program for 2011-2012 School Year
The Mount strongly recommends that every student have a notebook computer that can access the Mount’s campus-wide wireless data network. Notebook computers are used inside and outside of the classroom to help effectively prepare students for their chosen profession and for a lifetime of learning. Students have the ability to do on-line research, homework assignments and print from anywhere on campus using their notebook computer.
Students may bring their personally owned notebook computer to campus. Personally owned notebook computers must meet minimum hardware and software specifications in order to connect to the Mount’s wireless data network. Please visit our Non-Mount Purchased Notebook Guideline page to review the current minimum hardware and software specifications for Window-based computers and Apple MAC based computers.
