At the Mount, we believe in building up leaders for the future. We encourage the Mount community to identify their gifts and use them for the common good.
As a community we also believe in offering times of fellowship. We offer opportunities to grow in relationship with one another through times of fellowship.
Some of our leadership and fellowship opportunities include:
Leadership Team — This team of students gathers regularly throughout the year to plan social and spiritual activities for their peers. The Leadership Team programs include Homelessness Awareness Week, Trick-or-Treat for Canned Goods and 30-Hour Famine. Students learn leadership skills, teamwork, and organization while creating programs for the campus community.
Sunset Prayer– Yearly evening of prayer put on by the Campus Ministry Leadership Team. Students are invited to join us on the Motherhouse Roof for reflection, community, and a beautiful view of the college and the city.
Social Activities– Campus Ministry offers a variety of social activities throughout the year, including a yearly ice skating outing. All are invited and we are always looking for new suggestions. Look for new and upcoming events throughout the year.
Retreat Leadership– All Campus Ministry retreats are led by a group of five to nine students. We are always looking for students to help lead the next retreat, look for notices about applications throughout the year and build your leadership portfolio. Leadership teams are needed for the Beginnings, Metanoia, and Discover Retreats.
