Student Government Association (SGA) represents the interests and opinions of the student body by helping students understand their responsibilities, rights, and privileges. It promotes or initiates activities of general student interest. SGA also advises the fiscal committee that distributes funds to campus clubs/organizations officially registered and approved through SGA.
This association plans to represent the students’ opinions and to serve as liaison between the faculty, staff, and students. SGA does this through encouraging student representation on college committees, as well as by encouraging all clubs to have a representative attend the weekly meetings to continue the open line of communication. Meetings are at 5:00 p.m.every Thursday. Anyone is welcome.
