Biography: Dr. Buccigross is a professor and chair of the Department of Chemistry. A graduate of Framington State College in Framington, Mass., she received her Ph.D., M.S. and M.A. in Chemistry from Clark University in Worcester, Mass.
Professor Buccigross joined the Mount faculty in 1986. Her current research interests are the intersection of art and chemistry, particularly the science of natural dyes, rock art, and paints and pigments.
