The Legal Studies minor enables students desiring to attend law school or to simply learn more about the law the opportunity to demonstrate their interest through the designation of a minor in Legal Studies.  This minor offers students the ability to understand the basis of our legal system, legal research, and the U.S. Constitution, in addition to giving them the ability to explore areas of particular interest, such as the interaction between law and psychology or the study of law in other countries.

The minor is not designed to prepare a student for a career as a paralegal and has not been approved by the American Bar Association.
