Sorry there hasn't been anything to talk about right now wth the school. We've been having a lot of snow days and delayed classes. So school has been hectic. However, I did have my second MGl meeting and It was a success! A lot of people showed and we had an awesome time. Can't wait for next weeks meeting.

I wanted to try something new that hasn't been done on these blogs. One of my favorite bands: Angels & Airwaves, came out with a new album title "LOVE" on valentine's day. They released the album completely for free off their website www.angelsandairwaves.com. Their music has always been a huge inspiration of mine and their new album is their best work yet. I thought it would be a good idea to write a review of the album.

ET Ducit-7/10 Amazing intro. Set the mood for the rest of the cd. Loved the beginning riff and how the drums came in. Atom(the drummer) really outdid himself on this album. The synths are absolutely on point, and i love all of the effects and the different sounds used in this song. Once again, Atom gets in my head and steals the exact beats i would have put on this song myself.

The Flight of Apollo- 8/10 My Favorite song on the album. Tom(singer) just gives me chills when he sings the first verse. I love how the epic crescendo builds up to the first verse. I love how many lyrics tom put into this song and the others.  I love the message to this song as well. "So life doesnt hurt, doesnt hurt so badly."

Young London- 10/10 Almost made me cry and scream for joy the first time i heard it. I love the opening riff. Sounds very Blinkish/ACDCish. Tom never ceases to amaze me. I also love the weird sounds mixed into this song. Atom outdid himself on the drum track on this song as well. Love how it transitions from the verse to the chorus. I Love the ending transition, the vinyl scratches are so freaking epic.

Shove-10/10 One of my favorites. I love the lyrics to this song. Defanently something anyone can relate to. I love the line, She said, show me the world inside your head. So freakin true. All the time. I love the transition at the end of this as well. Love the surround sound effects to this song. And the little speech to.

Epic Holiday- 9/10Amazing intro. Love the surround sound effects and the technical aspect to it. This album was mixed very well. "LIfe's just an Epic holiday"

Hallucinations- 8/10 Great Single Material. I love the bass and lead guitar in this song. the intro is also awesome 

Fragments and Fictions- 7/10 They should have called this song that instead of the moon. I love the intro to this. Atom's drums are insane. The ending of this song has this interesting spacey vibe to it that remnds me of pink floyd.

Clever Love-6/10  Has some pretty cool random sound effects and how they were used throughout this song. "You can outlast cold, but can you outlast me?"

Soul Survivor && Letters to God Pt 2...both 10/10. These tracks are really the highlight of the album. The lyrics are really good, and contain the classic AVA sound. Remind me of their older stuff. Letters to god pt2 is just really good. The intro kicks butt and the

Some origins of fire- 8/10- \Great ending to the album. Reminds me of the closing track of their second album I-Empire. The Lead guitar at the end was really impressiv

Overall, This album is truly powerful. I love how it all flows together, beginning to end. I wish they would have left the little outros and intros into seperate tracks, so that way there would seem like there was more tracks on the cd. This album completes me. Im on such a musical high right now, I feel inspired (thanks tom) - I think my writers block may have finally broken. I hope this album gets some radio time. Everyone really outdid themselves on the album. Tom really has matured with the vocal melody.This album speaks the true message of AVA and it takes you on an epic journey of your own and you can decipher the albums message for yourself.
